Michell focuses her practice on immigration law, including removal proceedings, asylum, family-based petitions, Green Card adjustment of status applications, VAWA self-petitions, U visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), naturalization, removal of conditions on residence, fiancé(e) visas, Advance Parole and Reentry Permits, and DACA.
An immigrant herself, Michell is passionate about helping others navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. She is especially committed to representing families and survivors seeking protection and stability. Before relocating to the United States, she served for more than six years as an attorney for the Government of the Dominican Republic and also practiced immigration law there. That experience gives her a deep understanding of the legal process and of the challenges her clients face.
Michell is fluent in English and Spanish.
