Jesus Faria is Senior Paralegal, Immigration at Georges & Synowiecki, bringing both professional expertise and personal experience to his work in immigration law. Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Jesus fled the oppressive regime of Nicolás Maduro in 2017. As an immigrant himself, he deeply understands the challenges faced by those navigating the U.S. immigration system, and he approaches each case with empathy and dedication.
Jesus earned his law degree from Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela and practiced as an attorney before relocating to the United States. He aspires to further his legal career by obtaining his LL.M. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.
At Georges & Synowiecki, Jesus specializes in immigration matters, including court filings, preparing USCIS applications, and drafting communications with clients. He has also volunteered with the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) and The Resurrection Project, reflecting his ongoing commitment to immigrant advocacy and support.
